That's downtown, of the city where I grew up.
No, I'd never looked at it like that from the Taylor Street Bridge, on a scorcher of a summer's day. I suppose everyone else has. Not I, said the fat trombone player. But I love this shot. The freeways are there, and the congestion, and only the least remarkable things are surviving the sprawl, but this shot sets all that crap down at the curb, and just shows the best face of downtown.
