That picture wasn't taken recently, and it won't have anything to do with this post. That picture was taken the last time I was going to update the website. It's been a while. There's several reasons for that. None of them are good, but some of them are good. The most recent reason is that I've been trying to improve this site, get my RSS on (and that's the last time I'll use that particular construction, thank you), other blog-style things my one or two readers have been asking about, that is, when they were reading, which was when I was writing. It was all so long ago. Some findings: One: The iWeb application is so close to actually being useful that it's completely infuriating. You can edit the templates, make them look exactly the way you want them to. Only they've made that so hard to do, you half expect to find comments in the XML bragging about the fact, like <!-- We see you. Yes, it would be easy to make these templates editable from within the GUI. We probably actually did, on some unreleased code branch. But no, we didn't. That's right, life is pain. --> It gets worse, with that application.
